Impact modified PVC-U
The PVC-U we use in profiles not only has a high
impact resistance; it also has a high resistance to chemical
corrosion and weathering. Even after years of service, it
suffers no deterioration in performance. A close examination
of the geographical location of approved VEKA fabricators
illustrates the extent of the infrastructure and also the
extremes that VEKA windows are subjected to. From the aggressive
weather extremes of the Highlands of Scotland to the pollution
of the major UK cities, VEKA window systems are designed
to with stand the worst of the British climate with no ill
effects. Recognised as some of the strongest on the market – all
main profiles can be reinforced depending on applications.
Multi-chambered construction
The multi-chambered construction of our profiles with internal
webs for additional stability enables drainage while still
maintaining a continuous reinforcement chamber. Other benefits
include excellent insulation against heat loss and noise.

A
wide range of glazing thickness
Systems are capable of accepting a variety of glazing options and insulated panels.
These combinations enable thermal and acoustic performance criteria to be met.
Weather and glazing gaskets
Long lasting, high quality gaskets, won’t stretch
or suffer from colour migrations, and enable systems
to withstand extreme wind and rain conditions.
Provision for ancillaries
Extremely detailed design and manufacturing techniques enable the easy retention
of ancillaries, to cater for differing construction details, and the necessary
facilities for all types of security locking gear. |
