BSI British Standards is the National Standards Body of the UK, it develops standards and standardisation solutions to meet the needs of business and society.  They work with government, businesses and consumers to represent UK interests and facilitate the production of British, European and international standards.  British Standards’ products and services help organisations to successfully implement best practice, manage business-critical decisions and achieve excellence. British Board of Agrément
The BBA is the UK's major approval body for new construction products and installers. Their Agrément Certificates are recognised by specifiers and other industry decision-makers as proof that the products covered by them have been rigorously assessed, will allow compliance with Building Regulations to be achieved and will last for a defined period.

British Plastics Federation is the leading trade association of the UK plastics industry (representing approximately 80% of turnover), a springboard for industry action, existing to exploit common opportunities and resolve shared problems.

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF)
is a trade association for all those who make, supply or fit flat glass, such as windows, film or plastics. This site supplies information about the Federation and glass & glazing to the general public.
